Why Career Counseling?
What can EduLife do for you?

Career Counseling Services

EduLife Career Counseling will provide you with individualized attention and solutions that are tailored to your unique needs. No matter where you are on your career path, your Certified Career Management Counselor will guide you by focusing on you, where you want to be, how you have gotten to this point, what is most important to you and what steps you can take to reach your career goals

Have you ever wondered why some people are more successful than others? The answer is they chose the right career!!

While you (or your parents) have spent lots of money on education, making sure that you pass school and then college and maybe a MBA, you probably have rarely paid attention to how your career is evolving and how you see yourself in the next 3 or 5 years.

The career counseling journey probably costs a fraction of what was spent in formally educating you. Education has got you where you are today. We believe that career counseling is what will get you from here to what you dream to get to. So why hesitate in getting career counseling?

EduLife has set up a platform where its highly experienced and skilled counselors meet the individual and give him/her clarity in choosing the most suitable career based on his/her aptitude, interest, educational background, skills, competencies, training and experience.

Our career counseling also includes an Online Career Aptitude Test that has been specially conceptualized and designed for the job. This aptitude test not only checks your aptitude but also analyzes your interest and personality.

The test also undertakes psychometric profiling that will help determine your preference for a particular career.

 Why Career Counseling?

Many of us have chosen careers that were either advised by our family, friends or decided by fate (we had to choose career based on the marks scored by us in the previous exams or just because our brother/sister/close friend was pursuing the same career). The point is that the career path was chosen in many cases, without any systematic analysis of our aptitude. Many of us may not even be aware of our strengths and weaknesses.

The simple reason behind all this agony and frustration could be that you are in the wrong field and a little professional guidance will help you to understand your aptitude better. Good Career counseling helps in choosing the right career which forms the foundation for a successful professional career.

Parents and teachers, today, have a tough job guiding their children choosing the right career options. Diverse fields of studies, hundreds of emerging career opportunities and different criteria's of admission by different educational institutions have made the task extremely complex.

What can EduLife do for you?

It does not matter if you are just a fresher or a person with very little work experience. This might be the right time to plan your career as you have a long working window ahead of you. Alternatively, you may be a person with a few decades of experience and might be actually facing a mid career crisis.

EduLife can help irrespective of the years of experience you have or whether you have taken a break in your career to attend to something you always wanted to do and now want to get back to the corporate world. You might be planning to take a sabbatical and might someone neutral looking at things and giving you an honest opinion. You need someone outside your immediate set of colleagues, friends, bosses and peers who can look at all the facts and sift the facts from the emotion. We often get so involved in the routine that it makes terrific sense to take a break, not necessarily from your job but from your environment and see and feel the world around.

Career Assessment Services

The first step, once you know where you are headed, is to know as much about that career goal as possible. What does the career involve? What are the opportunities? What are the expectations? Where would I work? Where could I expect to be in five years? How much would I make starting out? How much would I make in five years? What types of people would I work with? Is this career growing? How fast? In a slow economy can I expect to keep my job in this career field? These are just some of the questions you should get answers to when you are exploring and researching your desired career field.
